WHY IS OLIVIA MUNN NO. 65?
There are certainly hotter actresses and funnier comedians out there, but for a certain subsection of guys, Olivia Munn is the perfect woman. With the body of a model and the mind of a gamer, the former Attack of the Show! host has long been the epitome of the term “geek goddess.” The curvy Munn is attempting to go mainstream, joining The Daily

Now that her NBC sitcom Perfect Couples has received the ax, Olivia Munn is free to drift back into feature film work. But is the lead role in a Broken Lizard ensemble comedy really a step in the fight direction?

Munn’s still trying to find her place in this big business and Hollywood — to its credit — continues finding ways to use this undoubtedly talented but more-than-a-little-quirky personality. After years spent hosting G4’s Attack of the Show and occasional stops on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Munn made the leap to feature-film work with parts in Iron Man 2 and Date Night with Tina Fey and Steve Carell. She also had a small part in Broken Lizard’s last film, The Slammin’ Salmon. With Couples unplugged by the network, the brunette beauty was free to join The Baby Makers, which Variety says will star Munn and Paul Schneider as a couple who hatches a plan to rob a sperm bank after they have trouble conceiving a child of their own.

Adding Schneider to any project instantly makes it better (I still miss his character on NBC’s hilarious Parks and Recreation), but seriously, films from the Broken Lizard comedy troupe — which include Club Dread and Beerfest — haven’t been funny since the Sundance sleeper Super Troopers, and even that was vastly overrated. We’ll see if The Baby Makers ends up being the project that puts Munn over the top, but with Broken Lizard involved, I’m not exactly holding my breath.

Along with her cohosting duties on Attack of the Show, the G4 hottie has a cameo in Iron Man 2, hitting theaters May 7, a collection of short stories on the way and a television pilot she’s about to start shooting.

But Munn took time out of her busy schedule just before she was due to appear as a guest on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to talk to E! News about working with Robert Downey Jr., what she’s searching for in a guy after breaking up with Star Trek‘s Chris Pine and a certain Axe she has to grind.

A self-described “geek to the core,” the model-turned-thesp said she jumped at the chance to test her improv mettle in Marvel’s highly anticipated sequel opposite stars Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle…

“It was such an exciting thing when [director] Jon Favreau called and said, ‘Hey we want you to do a cameo in the movie opposite Robert Downey,’” Munn tells E! News. “It was my best experience to date. I was on set getting to do improv with Robert and Don.”

After getting props from Downey himself, Munn says she was so excited she celebrated by eating burgers and fries at McDonalds, (not that it shows on those lovely curves of hers).

While that particular scene didn’t make the final cut, fanboys will be able to check it out on the DVD. But Favreau liked Munn so much, he brought her back for a second, more “straight-forward” cameo.

“This time, I got to go through and pick a Marvel character that I’ll get to be until the end of time,” the 29-year-old actress said, without revealing the comic book hero’s identity.

Speaking of which, Munn is something of a Comic-Con favorite, having been frequently mentioned as a candidate to lasso the title role in a big-screen Wonder Woman remake. Should it ever get made one day, Munn said she’d love to do it.

In the meantime, the Oklahoma native is enjoying the single life after her January breakup with Pine, who played a young James T. Kirk in last year’s Star Trek reboot. She also turned heads recently in an online “social experiment” promo for Axe, pranking random guys who weren’t used to a beautiful woman hitting on them so early in the morning.

“I’m looking for somebody that’s not an egomaniac,” Munn told E! News. “Somebody who’s secure but is secure enough to admit their own insecurities…who allows me to be funny without having to one-up me all the time.  Somebody that’s loyal and honest and trustworthy and that you feel protected with.”

As luck would have it, Munn plans to offer some dating tips of her own in a collection of short stories about her life aptly titled, Suck It, Wonder Woman: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek, hitting bookstores July 6. She’s also getting ready to film a pilot from the producers of Friends and 30 Rock entitled Perfect Couple.

Oh, and one other thing guys, she’s also really good at math.

In one new sketch, Munn and Amurri channel Thelma & Louise, with Amurri tackling the Louise role originated by her mother, Susan Sarandon.

“It’s like the sequel to Thelma & Louise,” Munn tells PEOPLE. “She’s got the blue bandana and we both wore the jean shorts. It’s awesome! It’s like, what happens after we drive off the cliff? We drive off a cliff and then open up into Avatar, and we’re in the movie, and then we get turned into avatars and we literally do shot-for-shot James Cameron’s trailer.”

Amurri was game to go blue with Munn. “The full makeup is not a problem with her,” Munn says. “Once we read the script and I told her what it was, and we watched the James Cameron trailer and we realized how awesome it would be to have Thelma and Louise as avatars, and there’s the whole uprising and everything, she was completely down.”

In addition to Attack of the Show! and the Broken Lizard film The Slammin’ Salmon, fans can see a different side of Munn when she takes on the traditional family sitcom on CBS’ Accidentally On Purpose next year. “I did theater growing up,” Munn says, “so a live audience is very exciting for me. Jenna Elfman’s character is having a baby so I’ll be the new nanny.”

Munn was reported to be intent on acting with Cruise in order to show her family that she’s made it in Hollywood.

Television’s Greek actress and star in the upcoming Iron Man 2 had faced a wall of opposition to her acting career after her mother’s family in China tried to convince her she would never be able to reach the same success as the Mission: Impossible actor.

Cruise for his part knows a thing or two about aspiring actresses. He married two of them – Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.

Munn said: ‘My mum’s family are all radiologists and engineers. I got a call from all my uncles trying to convince me that show business was a bad idea. Every single one of them used Tom Cruise as an example. ‘Only Tom Cruise can do it, not you. You (sic) not Tom Cruise.”

Munn for her part seems to be doing okay.
