Olivia Munn, 29, is desperately seeking Tom Cruise, or the chance to play a part alongside him.
Munn was reported to be intent on acting with Cruise in order to show her family that she’s made it in Hollywood.
Television’s Greek actress and star in the upcoming Iron Man 2 had faced a wall of opposition to her acting career after her mother’s family in China tried to convince her she would never be able to reach the same success as the Mission: Impossible actor.
Cruise for his part knows a thing or two about aspiring actresses. He married two of them – Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.
Munn said: ‘My mum’s family are all radiologists and engineers. I got a call from all my uncles trying to convince me that show business was a bad idea. Every single one of them used Tom Cruise as an example. ‘Only Tom Cruise can do it, not you. You (sic) not Tom Cruise.”
Munn for her part seems to be doing okay.
